Red Marietta Marigold
Tagetes patula
Single-flowered French marigold with rich mahogany-red petals edged in gold. Compact, free-flowering plants that bloom all season without deadheading. Excellent pest deterrent.
French Brocade Marigold
Tagetes patula
A very showy, low-growing marigold covered with beautiful red doubled blooms accented with oranges and golds. Very elegant looking in a Baroque sort of way. Blooms fade to a lovely burnt orange. Very beneficial in the garden — marigolds have strong nematicidal properties.
Gems Marigold
Tagetes tenuifolia
A very tidy and ridiculously cheerful mounding plant with a never-ending display of petite marigold flowers ranging from deep reddish-orange to dusty tangerine and lemon yellow. With their strong, slightly citrusy scent, brilliant colors, and lacy foliage, they attract beneficials and predatory insects throughout the season. Blooms until frost. Small edible flowers and leaves. Drought tolerant.
Benary's Giant Zinnia
Zinnia elegans
At 3–4' tall, 2–3' wide with 3–6" blooms, they will continue to stun you until frost. Pinching back the first 3" when your plants are around 12" tall will result in more growing stems per plant, longer flower stems, and even more abundant blooms. If you keep cutting them, they will bloom continuously!
Persian Carpets Zinnia
Zinnia haageana
Unusual zinnia mix with intricate bicolor and tricolor blooms in burnt orange, burgundy, cream, and yellow. Each flower is a unique work of art. More heat and drought tolerant than standard zinnias.
Queen Lemon Peach Zinnia
Zinnia elegans
A beauty with mostly doubled and semi-doubled blooms that start creamy yellow and mature to peachy tones. Magenta-rose centers provide beautiful contrast. Strong, vigorous plants afford cuts with long stems.
Johnny Jump-Up
Viola tricolor
Cheerful miniature violas with rich purple and yellow faces. Self-seeds prolifically, returning year after year. Edible flowers, excellent for containers and border edges.
Night Scented Stock
Matthiola longipetala
Humble by day, magical by night — small, pale flowers release an intensely sweet, clove-like fragrance after sunset. Plant near windows, patios, or paths to enjoy the evening scent.
